On 24 July, the President of the Republic submitted the latest amendments to the Immigration Law to the Constitutional Court for urgent preventive review. The petition raises three core issues: protection of family unity (limits on reunification), legal certainty (undefined criteria for job-seeking visas), and effective judicial protection (the right to appeal AIMA decisions). The Court has 15 days to decide, a timeframe that could delay implementation or require significant redrafting.
